After four years in downtown Longmont’s oldest brick building, Landline Doughnuts & Coffee is nearing the end of the line.

The doughnut shop announced Monday it will be closing doors for good on August 25.

As to what’s spurring the move, Landline owners Jodi and John Mowery intend to move to Washington state to live closer to their family, per a social media post.

No more doughnuts?

Time will tell. Landline said they'll be putting the building on the market soon and will be open to talks with interested buyers. Purchasing the Landline business itself will be an option. Email us at [email protected] if you want to pool some money together.

Before Landline scored their downtown location, it spent three years baking doughnuts at a home kitchen and selling them to locals at farmers markets and pop-ups around Colorado.
